PhilaPort Temperature Controlled Warehouse

A&E Construction Co. was responsible for the design and build of a temperature-controlled 200,000 SF warehouse for storage of refrigerated and frozen goods.  The warehouse is situated adjacent to PhilaPort’s dry warehouse that A&E completed in 2022.  The cold storage facility consists of freezer and refrigerated rooms.  The design includes a state-of-the-art automated pallet retrieval and storage racking system.  The building has a stepped roof ranging from 30 feet high for the loading docks, to 74 feet high for the freezer rooms.  The project was completed in October 2025.
