A&E Construction Co. was the general contractor for renovations of three dining rooms and a kitchen totaling 10,000 SF, over a four-month period. The work was phased to allow two dining rooms to remain functional. New windows were installed as well as a new serving area. Daily cleaning and housekeeping of the dining room was essential. A second project included a three-phase project involving the renovation of three dining rooms totaling 7,500 SF while keeping two fully operational. All mechanical systems were upgraded including sprinklers. The renovation required meetings with residents, administration, and the design team to coordinate the successful completion of the project in the five-month time frame. A 1,200 SF addition was built for a dining room waiting area.
