Doane Academy

A&E Construction Co. was responsible for the construction of a four-story, 26,500 SF building that connects the school’s two historic buildings (1912 and 1869) and makes all three buildings elevator accessible. The new building, Rowan Hall, is the school’s main building and front door to the campus. It houses a large open parlor, administrative offices, and 12 classrooms. The exterior is brick and stone to blend with the existing structures and is heated and cooled with a state-of-the-art geothermal HVAC system.
